This makes me just a little more excited.

First off, congratulations to Thomas for how his court case went! He pled no contest to two counts to misdemeanor reckless driving in connection with an accident in which a 17-year-old bicyclist was injured. Dekker was arrested on two counts of felony DUI and placed on $100,000 bail. Eventually he was charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI.

Today in court, the case fell apart when prosecutors learned the bicyclist was at fault, riding without reflectors the wrong way on a freeway on-ramp. Thomas was placed on two years informal probation and agreed to take a 12-hour alcohol ed class and pay a $300 fine. So it seems everything is alright and let’s hope Thomas walked away with a lesson through all of this. Drinking and driving? Does not pay.

Television actor Thomas Dekker has pleaded innocent in a California court to two counts of driving under the influence, officials said.

TMZ reported the development in the case Thursday.

Dekker was arrested last month for alleged drunken driving after police said he hit a 17-year-old bicyclist with his car near a freeway on-ramp in Los Angeles. The teen was treated for minor injuries, TMZ noted.

I personally have nothing to say in the matter accept I hope things come out alright and that he doesn’t suffer from the ‘John Connor Curse’ too much longer.

Thomas Dekker, known for his role portraying John Connor in the Terminator TV show, is scheduled for arraignment on two misdemeanor DUI charges.

He was arrested last month in North Hollywood under suspicion of drunken driving. He was pulled over on Burbank Boulevard on Oct. 14 after failing to make a turn onto the Hollywood Freeway, striking a bicyclist in a crosswalk. The cyclist was just 17, but he escaped with minor injuries. The actor is now 21-years-old, and he made the $100,000 bail to be released from jail the following day.

Dekker was officially charged with one count each of California’s DUI laws: driving under the influence, and driving under the influence with a blood-alcohol content of .08% or above.

I have to take some time off for health reasons, I will try to update if anything major comes up with Thomas but it may have to wait until things are better. I just wanted to give everyone a small heads up of what’s going on if you don’t see me! I’ll be back once this blows over.

Even Thomas makes mistakes and he’s admitted it time and time again. This time, he was driving drunk and hit a bicyclist. He’s currently being held on suspicion of felony DUI and causing bodily harm. His bail is set at $100,000.

More is developing in the story and I’ll keep you updated. This just goes to prove he’s human though. My thoughts and prayers go out to the victim as well as Thomas.
